Slight severe threat Saturday, flash flooding likely
There is a SLIGHT risk for severe weather for Saturday. A few storms could be strong to severe.
Tornado potential is low, but a few brief spin ups are possible especially in Tennessee.
Hail up to quarter size or half dollar size possible.
Some gusty winds may come through with these storms as well. 70+ mph winds.
Flooding is going to become a problem with the rainfall moving through over and over this weekend. Flood Watches are in place.
The amount of rain, on top of the rain we have already seen is incredible. Some spots in SE Missouri could see an additional 4-7 inches of rainfall. Turn around, don’t drown!

Saturday, temperatures cooler out west and warmer towards the southeast.
Saturday, storms likely in the morning and evening. This will add to the life threatening flooding. Some rain showers Sunday morning. Temperatures cool off going into next week. More rain chances late next week possible.
