Slow warm up; more rain by the weekend
A cold day is expected on Thursday with highs struggling to get into the lower 30s.
With a northwest wind, the wind chill will have a bite to it.
After Thursday, we start to warm up. We will get to about 40 on Friday, then 50 on Saturday.
On Saturday, we have a good chance at some heavy rain and maybe even some thunderstorms. Storms will start early Saturday morning and linger into the afternoon.
Precipitation potential is on the high side. An inch to an inch and a half possible from Cape Girardeau south and east.
