Snow showers Monday morning, slowly warming up
An ICE STORM WARNING (purple) is in effect from until noon Monday through the central part of the FOX23 viewing area, including Cape Girardeau and Carbondale. Icing will continue with additional snow and sleet accumulations up to 0.5″.
A WINTER STORM WARNING (pink) is in effect until noon Monday north of the Ice Storm Warning. Light mixed precipitation is possible: total snow and sleet accumulations between 0.5-1″.
A WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY (light purple) is in effect until Monday for Paducah, Poplar Bluff and areas south of the Ice Storm Warning. Light mixed precipitation is expected with total snow accumulations up to 1″ and ice accumulations around 0.10″ possible.

The snow will move in late tonight into early Monday morning and will be gone by lunch time.
