Spotty shower chances Monday (12/4/22)

After staying dry and cooler this weekend, temperatures are going to rebound into the 50s once again by Monday. With that, we will start a more active weather pattern that looks to bring consistent chances to see rain each day of the next week. For now, most of the day looks to remain dry, but chances increase just after lunch.

Precipitation Probability Kbsi

Temperatures will be increasing tonight from midnight on, and the cloud cover will keep overnight lows on the milder side as well. We will start Monday morning in the 30s, yet quickly jump to the 40s before long. Rain chances are small throughout the day, with scattered light precipitation possible early Monday afternoon into the evening.

Leading into the later hours, there will be better chances to see rain through the evening hours. No thunderstorms are expected with this first round of precipitation, but light showers off and on throughout the day will be how we start this first full week of December. The best chance to see rain though will be to the south.

In talks of rain, some heavier bands of rain could amount to flash flooding especially in the southern portion of our area through Kennett and Union City. Several inches of rainfall are likely in some southern areas including Tennessee that could see localized flooding of low lying and poor drainage locations.
