Warmer and windier Sunday (2/18/23)
The rest of this weekend, spoiler, isn’t going to change all that much precipitation-wise. We are really not going to see much moisture until next week when rain returns to the forecast and some storms may be possible. So for now, we will remain dry and continue to warm up.
Going hour-by-hour through Sunday, temperatures will start out milder than Saturday morning. Lows should be around the middle and upper 30s, quickly warming into the 40s as winds pick up.
Winds for yet another day will be out of the south, bringing warmer air to our region. Winds will range from 10-20 mph during the afternoon and evening, gusting upwards of 25 mph at times.
With that, we’ll end up almost 10 degrees warmer in some spots, and some will see the lower 60s by the end of this weekend. This mild weather continues to trend into next week, even with a few systems coming our way to bring rain and possibly thunder back into the picture.
It’s too early to give too much detail about any risk associated with said storms Tuesday and Wednesday, but we will continue to keep you updated as we get closer.
