Storm chance on Friday, followed by cool down
Heading into the rest of this week and weekend, we’re expecting some showers with a chance for storms as a cold front comes through on Friday.
Mostly light rain is expected with some of these showers Friday afternoon into the evening, but up to a quarter inch is possible. It’ll be both mild and breezy otherwise throughout the day.
The severe risk with the storm chance has shifted to be north and west of our area for Friday. The biggest changes we’re anticipating is some stronger winds and cooler air moving into the region to close out the week and for this weekend.
Here’s a look at what wind gusts could look like for Saturday afternoon. Winds will be out of the northwest and gusting upwards of 30 mph by then.
With that, our coldest days appear to be Sunday and next Monday. Temperatures will be in the 60s for a while going forward!
