Storm chances for Saturday
Storms are going to be possible on Saturday and some may be strong to severe. The better chance for severe weather will be further south, but one or two storms may become severe in our area, so it’s worth keeping an eye on.
Because of the severe threat, there is Level 1 and 2 “Marginal to Slight Risk” for severe storms Saturday. The better chance for severe weather will be to our south and east, but we’re on the northern edge of this.
Above is what the radar may look like during the day Saturday. Notice that there’s a morning chance for some isolated storms, but the better chance for severe weather will come with the line of storms that forms in the afternoon.
Because of that isolated storm chance early, keep an eye on the radar if you’re running in the marathon!
Rain is possible, but it will be hit and miss. The better chance for heavy rain is to our southeast.
Highs will be near 60, but that’ll be the last day we’re this warm for a while.
Highs will be in the 40s and 50s Sunday and beyond!
