Storm Chances for Tuesday and for the Week Ahead
Severe Weather Potential:
Severe weather will be possible on Tuesday, with a Marginal Risk of severe weather in place from the Storm Prediction Center. An isolated tornado, large hail, and damaging winds will all be possible.
Here is the latest run of Stormcast showing showers and thunderstorms possible by early Tuesday morning. Storm chances continue to the north of Cape Girardeau throughout the afternoon.
Forecast:
Temperatures remain mild tonight in the middle 50s under building cloud cover.
High temperatures looked pretty good earlier today with many of us seeing the middle 60s!
Lows tonight will be in the 50s for most of us with mostly cloudy skies and strong winds out of the south.
Mostly cloudy tonight in Cape with a chance of a shower or thunderstorm early Tuesday morning. Lows will drop to the lower 50s.
Highs tomorrow will be well above average across the Heartland with highs in the 70s!
Unfortunately, mostly cloudy skies and a chance of showers and thunderstorms look to play spoiler here in Cape. Afternoon temperatures will climb to the lower 70s with a strong southerly wind.
Storm chance continue for the week ahead with temperatures falling into the mid-60s. Mostly sunny skies return for Saturday with highs in the upper 50s.
