Storm chances, remaining hot for now

Temperatures will quickly rise into the 80s before noon, then top out very close to 90 degrees.

Just about everybody will be around 90 for a high on Friday. That’s 10 degrees above average.

Scattered showers and storms are possible on and off, but especially in the late afternoon and early evening.

We slowly but surely cool off over the next several days. Each day has at least a small chance for storms.
