Storm chances; steady warm up
Storms will be possible tonight with one or two storms getting strong to severe. These should move out of the area by early Friday morning.
The storm chance has a level 1 “Marginal Risk” for storms for most of our area. The level 2 “Slight Risk” is mainly east of us after the afternoon storms earlier.
Temperatures will be near normal on Friday with highs very close to 90 degrees. There’s a small chance for a storm in the afternoon.
The dew point won’t be outrageous, but it won’t be refreshing, either. Near 70 will give us a little bit of a muggy factor.
With temperatures near 90 and dew points near 70, the heat index will be a little high. Nothing like earlier this week, though.
After the small storm chance on Friday, it’s quiet and warm for the next several days.
