Storms into Thursday and remaining warm
Showers and thunderstorms are going to be likely overnight into Thursday morning. There is a heavy rain potential, so a Flood Watch has been issued for portions of the KBSI viewing area.
After the storms come to and end, we’ll see plenty of cloud cover, so that will hinder our temperatures a little bit. Highs will be a little cooler than we’ve seen lately with highs in the middle 80s. However, the dew point will remain high, so the humidity isn’t going anywhere anytime soon.
With the added moisture potential and the heat and humidity sticking around, the Skeeter Meter remains very high. This will likely stay this way through the next several days.
Storms are going to continue to be possible on and off for the next several days, so if you haven’t seen enough rain yet, you still have a chance down the road.
