Storms likely through Tuesday
Strong to severe storms will be possible on and off through Tuesday. Remnants of Hurricane Beryl will be moving through our area bringing with it heavy rain and the potential for tornadoes and damaging wind. Because of the threat, there is a level 1 and 2 “Marginal” and “Slight” Risk for severe storms.
Below is what our latest StormCast is showing for the storm potential early Tuesday morning, then again in the afternoon.
The main concern will be the potential for tornadoes as a line of storms moves through.
Damaging wind will also be an issue as the wave of storms rolls through.
Heavy rain is likely with these storms. 1-3″ of rain will be possible for some.
A Flood Watch is in place for the heavy rain potential through Wednesday.
