Storms Likely Thursday
Showers and thunderstorms will be possible on Thursday on and off. A couple of rounds are expected, one in the morning and early afternoon and then another in the evening. Both rounds do have a chance for severe weather including hail, damaging wind, flooding rains, and isolated tornadoes. Have a way to monitor the weather on Thursday so if warnings are issued, you can find a safe place to be quickly. Temperatures will be about average with highs in the lower 70s.
Storms will continue on Friday, but the threat for severe weather will be gone. General showers and thunderstorms can be expected on and off throughout the day before tapering off by the evening. Highs will be around 70 degrees.
For the all important Mother’s Day weekend, it’s looking very nice for mom! Mostly sunny to partly cloudy skies on Saturday and Sunday with highs in the lower 70s Saturday and lower 80s on Sunday.
Next week, we warm up and warm up a LOT. Record highs will be possible Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday.
