Storms possible Monday morning

A chance for strong storms continues into Monday with more chances for storm activity both Tuesday and Wednesday. Smaller chances for storms linger into the new work week. Temperatures stay warm in the 90s.

There is a Marginal Risk (level 1/5) for Severe Weather on Monday. Damaging wind speeds, large hail and a thunderstorm or two are the greatest risks at this time. The Storm Alert Team is tracking the system as it approaches.

Stormcast is showing strong storm activity over parts of southern Illinois, western Kentucky and NW Tennessee in the early morning hours on Monday. Plan extra time in your morning commute as these storms make their way east.

Many storm chances the next three days, with warm temperatures resulting in a very wet and muggy environment, thus we will see more mosquito activity.

Many chances for precipitation across the KBSI viewing area for the incoming week. Wednesday will be our hottest day this week with temperatures nearing 100. Temperatures stay warm in the 90s, before dipping into the upper 80s heading into the weekend.
