Storms Possible, Then Cooler Air 4/5/22
A line of showers and thunderstorms is set to move through early Wednesday morning, in a 3am – 7am time frame. The severe weather threat is small, but a couple of storms may be on the strong side as they move through. Strong winds and small hail will be the most likely severe threat.
After the storms move through early Wednesday, a few lingering showers and thunderstorms will be possible on and off, then just partly cloudy. There will be a bit of a breeze out of the west with highs in the lower and middle 60s.
Cooler air starts to move in Thursday and sticks around a couple of days. With partly cloudy skies, we’ll see a high in the upper 50s on Thursday. We’ll get a mix of sun and clouds on Friday but temperatures will be the coldest we’ve seen in a while. Early Friday, the temperature will drop into the middle 30s and then we try to warm up but only make it to around 50 degree.
Saturday will start off VERY chilly with temperatures near the freezing mark early in the morning, but we’ll rebound a bit and see highs in the upper 50s.
Sunday and beyond will have highs in the lower and middle 70s. We have a chance for showers late Sunday and storms possible once again on Monday.
