Storms this weekend, quiet next week (9/9/22)
Scattered showers and storms are going to be possible on and off throughout the weekend. When it isn’t raining, we’ll see mainly cloudy skies and temperatures that will be near or just below average. After the storm chance on Saturday and Sunday, we clear out and keep it cool for a few days. But the heat comes back toward the second half of next week.
For Saturday, temperatures are expected to be pretty close to normal for most of us. The average high is in the lower 80s and that’s about where we’ll be across the board. Even with the added cloud cover and chance for rain!
Temperatures will be in the lower 80s on Saturday, but the humidity is going to be pretty high. The dewpoint does drop off a little on Sunday, then even more on Monday. The humidity will actually go away for a day or two!
With that lower humidity by early next week, the Skeeter Meter will finally be “low” for a day!
