Storms through Tuesday evening
The Storm Prediction Center has issued a SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WATCH for portions of southeast Illinois and Kentucky until 8 p.m. Tuesday evening.
Primary threats include damaging wind gusts as high as 75 mph, large hail up to 1.5″ in diameter and a tornado or two will be possible.
A fast-moving line of storms is set to track eastward through this evening.
A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WATCH means that conditions are favorable for severe thunderstorms in and close to the watch area.

Storms with winds up to 75+ mph and large hail, will move through this afternoon and evening (1pm-7pm).
Storms look to die down as they move east through this evening. Wind and small hail will be the main concerns.
Wednesday morning, temperatures in the low 60s.
Wednesday, temperatures in the upper 70s and low 80s.
Wednesday, a MARGINAL risk for severe weather. A few thunderstorms could become severe with the main concern being wind.
Some storm and rain chances through Friday. This weekend looks to be beautiful, with pleasant temperature and sunshine. Next week, temperatures warming up into the upper 70s.
