Storms Thursday and Friday, heavy rain possible
Storms are going to be possible on Thursday through Saturday with some severe storms possible and heavy rain likely. We get a break for Sunday, but chances come back next week. Temperatures will be a little up and down, but fairly close to average overall.
The overall outlook for rain is high. The Woods Basement Systems forecast has an inch or two (maybe three) of rain possible through Friday!
Storms will be possible on Thursday with the chance increasing as the day progresses.
Above is what our StormCast model has for the storm and heavy rainfall potential into Friday.
The chance peaks early in the afternoon. There’s a much better chance for more rain on Friday.
Storms that do form on Thursday may get severe. There is a level 1 “Marginal Risk” for severe storms. This means hail and damaging wind will be possible with an isolated tornado possible.
Highs on Thursday will be in the upper 70s to the middle 80s. A little above average for some.
Heavy rain is a concern. An inch or two by Friday morning is a possibility.
There is a Marginal Risk for excessive rainfall on Thursday.
There is a higher “Slight Risk” for excessive rainfall on Friday.
After these rain chances Thursday through Saturday, we get Sunday to catch our breath.
