Storms Thursday, then a severe potential Friday
Temperatures are going to be warm again on Thursday. We’ll start in the middle 50s, which is close to our average high this time of year!
There’s a small chance we might see some storms (see below) in the morning. They aren’t expected to amount to much.
Highs in the afternoon are going to be WAY above average.
Our StormCast weather model is showing a wave of storm rolling through Friday night into early Saturday morning.
Because of this storm potential, we are in the middle of a level 3 “Enhanced Risk” for severe storms. Hail, damaging wind, and isolated tornadoes will be possible.
This is a large area that is expected to be impacted. Those near the straight black lines have the highest risk at seeing severe storms Friday night.
After the storm chance Friday into Saturday, we cool off in time for St. Patrick’s Day.
