Stray Scattered Storms, Warm for Monday
Variable cloudiness with a chance for a few scattered showers throughout the day on Monday. Most of us stay dry, and warmer afternoon temperatures reach the 80s.

We get off to a very mild start to the day on Monday morning with lows reaching the mid-to-upper 60s.
A stray storm or two will be possible across the viewing area tonight, and breezy for the Cape Girardeau area. Lows tonight are expected in the mid-60s.
Highs on Monday will be 10-15 degrees above average across the viewing area, with widespread 80s.
For Cape, we are looking at partly sunny skies and warm weather for the afternoon. A strong south-southwesterly wind will join us too, with gusts up to 30 miles per hour.
The 80s look to continue for the majority of the work week, with our next best chance for precipitation arriving for Wednesday and Thursday.
