Sunday full of “sun” before storms roll in (8/13/22)

Conditions will stay dry through the day Sunday, allowing temperatures to warm up into the low 90s for the afternoon. Winds will be gusty at times from the southwest, transporting some warm and humid air. Dew points are likely going to sit around 70°, right around the point where it starts to feel uncomfortable.

Dma Tomorrow High

With dew points and high temperatures forecasted for Sunday, the Skeeter Meter was set to the “high” category. That trend will continue into Monday and Tuesday as rain chances start to enter the mix. Overnight low temperatures will be hovering around normal with mostly clear skies Saturday into Sunday.

Skeeter Meter

After seeing no precipitation through Sunday, chances for some rainfall return to the forecast for the first half of next week. The timing for some rainfall on Monday is looking later and later. Best chances to see showers on Monday look to be off to the west and north, but those will be light. The better shot for widespread rain chances will be more likely for Tuesday. Temperatures during and through the rain events will be just below normal in the lower 80s.
