Sunny, Mid-70s on Repeat Through the Weekend
The forecast remains gridlocked on sunny skies with highs in the 70s. A great week ahead for any outdoor plans in the Heartland!
A few short-range runs of StormCast throw a few spot showers across central Missouri this evening. Any activity is expected to dissipate through the evening and overnight, leaving the viewing area dry.
Temperatures will be near average for mid-October, with lows in the mid-to-upper 40s.
Clear skies and light winds will bring favorable conditions for fog, especially near bodies of water on Wednesday morning. Lows will fall to the middle 40s in Cape, which leaves us with jacket weather still for the morning commute.
Tuesday afternoon will replay a very similar story to the last several days. Highs return to the middle and upper 70s alongside sunny skies and a light northerly breeze.
It would be hard to find a complaint for Wednesday’s forecast in Cape outside of a few passing clouds. High pressure continues to keep rain chances at bay through midweek.
A pleasant weather pattern continues into Thursday, with seasonal lows and highs just above average.
The current weather pattern looks to continue at least through the weekend. Long-range forecasts hint at a cold front moving through early next week, though it looks like we will wait longer than that for our next chance of precipitation.
