Sunny, Pleasant on Monday

Plenty of sunshine and pleasant temperatures are on the way for the start of the work week in the Heartland. Highs will reach the upper 60s with a light northwesterly wind.

Stormcast keeps us mostly quiet for our Monday across the viewing area.

Low temperatures tonight will be seasonally cooler, with most of us starting off Monday morning in the upper 30s and lower 40s.

Clear skies are expected through the overnight hours for Cape Girardeau, with temperatures reaching the upper 30s.

We gain a few degrees for our Monday high temperatures, with the majority of the viewing area seeing temperatures at, or slightly above, average.

Should be good weather for any outdoor plans on Monday afternoon and evening in Cape!

Mostly sunny skies continue for the majority of the work week ahead. Temperatures and winds will pick up for the middle of the week, with chances for precipitation increasing for Friday and Saturday.
