Sunny Sunday, Storms, Potentially Severe on Monday
Sunday looks to be warm, and Sunday is ahead of an active weather pattern to start the work week in the Heartland.
StormCast keeps us clear on Sunday, but storm chances loom for Monday.
Low temperatures early on Sunday will fall to the middle and upper 50s.
Highs will once again be well above average, reaching the lower 80s across the viewing area.
Long-term models still hint at a strong line of showers and thunderstorms moving through the viewing area on Monday evening.
All severe weather hazards will be in play for the Heartland on Monday. An Enhanced Risk (Level 3 out of 5) is in place as numerous severe storms are expected.
Temperatures peak with our storm chances on Monday, with highs reaching the middle 80s. Cooler with another chance of storms on Tuesday, with highs in the 70s through the end of April.
