Another frigid evening across the Heartland with our overnight temperatures lingering in the lower to middle 20s.

We got off to a cold start across the Heartland with lows this morning in the 20s. Northerly winds today kept us on the cooler side, with our highs only reaching the lower 40s.

Low temperatures this evening will be similar to what we saw on Monday morning. Temperatures will drop to the lower and middle 20s, well below average for this time of year.

Mostly clear skies tonight in Cape Girardeau with lows in the mid-20s. A south-southwesterly wind will set us up for a warmer day ahead on Tuesday.

A flurry or two will be possible tomorrow morning for our northern counties, with Stormcast showing cloud cover clearing by tomorrow afternoon.

Temperatures rebound into the 50s for most of us tomorrow with stronger winds out of the south-southwest.

A sunny afternoon ahead for Veterans Day with highs returning to the lower 50s in Cape. A breezy day ahead as well, with winds gusting up to 30 miles per hour.

High temperatures will be back into the 60s by Wednesday where they will stay until the end of the week. Winds increase once again out of the south for Friday and Saturday, bringing warmer temperatures ahead of an incoming cold front. We could see a few chances for rain as the front passes through the Heartland late Saturday into Sunday.
