Temperatures climbing into the weekend (6/2/22)
After a healthy dose of rainfall for some on Wednesday, the weather turned a bit drier on Thursday. We maintained the cloud cover for a while, but skies cleared by the end of the day. We expect clear skies overnight and into Friday morning, with a low in the middle 50s for many.
Going into Friday, we will be under the influence of a much quieter pattern. An area of high pressure will be passing overhead, which will keep the weather dry. High temperatures on Friday should be in the lower-80s for most. We can’t rule out a few high clouds, but the day with be mostly sunny.
As of now, the weekend looks very nice. We’ll keep the sunshine on Saturday with temperatures in the low to mid-80s. Clouds begin to increase late Saturday, setting us up for a partly cloudy Sunday with highs in the middle-80s.
We can’t rule out a late isolated storm on Sunday, but the latest trends point towards a mostly dry day. The pattern turns much more unsettled on Monday, with scattered storms not out of the question through Wednesday as things stand now.
