Lows tonight will reach the mid-to-upper 60s. A light breeze is possible, which should make for a pleasant early start to our Friday.
High temperatures on Friday will be a few degrees above average in the lower 90s. Winds will shift to be out of the south at 5 to 10 mph.
However, higher dew points will push heat index values close to 100 degrees for most of us as we close out the work week.
The warmer temperatures will stick around and peak at the start of the next work week. We could see heat index values above 100 degrees throughout the weekend. No chances for precipitation in the extended forecast and plenty of sunshine ahead.
