Turning warmer heading into the holiday weekend (5/26/22)
An upper-level low is plaguing the FOX 23 viewing area, with clouds and scattered showers reigning supreme. Things will turn warmer and drier heading into the weekend, but we have one more day with clouds to get through first.
A few hit-or-miss showers will stick around on Thursday evening and overnight, with clouds remaining. Overnight lows should be in the 50s for most.
The clouds will be stubborn to exit on Friday. Isolated showers are possible, but the vast majority of the day will be dry. These isolated showers will depart from west to east. We dry out completely going into Saturday. Expect another cool day on Friday, with highs in the upper-60s to low-70s.
We embark upon a warm and dry spell going into the holiday weekend. By Memorial Day, we could be talking about highs approaching the 90° mark once again.
