Very mild start to the week, storms by Tuesday

The week is going to start off very mild. Highs will be 20 degrees above average!

Tuesday will be even warmer with a few spots hitting the 80 degree mark. Many of the temperatures below would be new record highs.

When we have very warm temperatures like this in early March, there is usually a cold front somewhere close wanting to cool us back down. That’s the case Tuesday into Wednesday. Severe storms are likely to our west Tuesday. We’re on the edge of this threat, but will likely see severe storms around here on Wednesday.

The cold front moves through during the day on Wednesday and will be pushing through by mid afternoon.

Severe storms will be possible as this storm threat moves through.

After the storm chances Tuesday and Wednesday, we’ll have a quick cool down for Thursday, then warm back up with lots of sunshine heading into the weekend.
