Warm and stormy weekend
Scattered showers and storms will be possible on and off this weekend. A wave will push through Saturday morning, then another late Saturday night, then more early Sunday morning. Strong to severe storms are possible. We do quiet down by next week! Temperatures will be very warm through the weekend.
Storms will linger through the first part of Saturday, leaving us with partly cloudy skies by the afternoon.
Highs for the day will be very close to normal and in the upper 80s and lower 90s.
Storms are expected to roll through in the morning, some of them could be on the strong side.
Because of the potential for strong to severe storms, the SPC has us on the southern edge of a Marginal to Slight Risk for severe storms.
The storms should be quick movers, but the threat for some heavy rain is still there. 1-2″+ will be possible for some.
Storms will continue to be possible Sunday into Monday, but then a quiet and cooler period sets up for most of next week. A much needed break!
