Warm and sunny through Thursday, then cooler
Highs this time of year average in the upper 40s, but we’ll once again be well above that for the next couple of days. We’ll cool back down to around normal by Friday.
Precipitation will be put on pause Wednesday and Thursday, but more rain is in the forecast by Friday and Saturday.
On Monday, the heaviest of the rain (and snow for some) fell mainly in Kentucky, Tennessee, and Arkansas. Southern Illinois and SE Missouri mostly missed out!
For Tuesday, the sun comes back and the very mild temperatures continue to stick around.
We won’t be too far from the average high on Tuesday, but some of us will be pushing into the middle 50s by the afternoon.
After a few dry days, rain is back into the forecast for Friday and Saturday. Temperatures will cool off a little for Friday and into the weekend.
