Warm and Windy Saturday (2/23/22)
The weekend is here and while today will be the day to get things done outside, you will be dealing with quite a bit of wind if you do! Mostly sunny to partly cloudy skies will be around all day with highs in the lower 80s, but the wind will be out of the south at 10 to 20 mph, gusting to 30 mph.
On Sunday, scattered storms will be possible on and off throughout the day. It will start as just a few showers early, but heavier rain will move in by the evening and lasts into Monday. Over an inch of rain will be possible in some area. The severe weather threat is small, but a few storms could become strong the second half of the day Sunday.
The rain will start to taper off the second half of the day on Monday and cooler air moves in for a while. Highs on Monday will struggle to get into the middle 60s.
Those middle 60s will continue into Tuesday, but the sun will come back and dry us out. In fact, no rain is in the forecast for Tuesday through Friday next week.
