Warm Wednesday then rain for the holiday and beyond (11/22/22)
Leading up to the holidays, Wednesday will be the last warmer day above average before a front brings in the chance for rain the rest of the week and for Thanksgiving on Thursday.
Increasing clouds throughout the day on Wednesday will cut off some of the warming that we would have seen with clear skies, but nonetheless temperatures will make it into the upper 50s and low 60s across our area.
Rain chances increase starting Wednesday evening into Thursday morning with continued chances through Sunday. With the rain chances comes the opportunity to get some more moisture to areas that have been in need. So far this month, we are approximately an inch and a half below what is normal for November.
Besides 60s on Wednesday, temperatures are going to cool with the chance for rain while remaining steady in the 50s. While staying above freezing and above average for most of the week, the precipitation that we see will be in the form of rain this time around.
