Warm With Isolated Storms Tuesday Afternoon
Tuesday afternoon near 3-6pm, pop up showers and thunderstorms will develop mainly across SE Missouri, southern Illinois & western Kentucky. A few heavy downpours, gusty winds up to 40+ mph, lightning and pea size hail could occur with a few stronger storms. A few stronger storms look to occur in SE Missouri near Poplar Bluff this evening.
6-8pm: Isolated showers & thunderstorms begin to weaken, though a few stronger storms could hang on into parts of western Kentucky.
Rainfall potential through Tuesday night will be very spotty! If you find yourself under a thunderstorm, you could see up to 0.50″-1.0″+. The best chance for rain will be into southern Illinois and SE Missouri.
High temperatures Tuesday will be a few degrees below average. Temperatures reaching the mid to upper 80s under mostly/partly sunny skies. Tuesday night looks good for any outdoor activities after 8pm.
Wednesday morning, temperatures right near average in the upper 60s and low 70s.
