Warmer and unsettled week ahead
After a cool start to the week, temperatures are going to warm up and stay warm for a while.
We’ll see highs in the 70s all the way into the weekend. Lows will be very mild, as well. With all of this extra heat, storm chances are increased.
Through Thursday, an inch or two of rain is possible in Missouri, Illinois, into northern parts of Kentucky.
Below is what our StormCast weather model is showing for timing, location, and duration of the storm potential.
The best chance for strong to severe storms is on Wednesday. It’s a small chance with just a level 1 “Marginal Risk” for severe storms.
