Warming up and quiet for another day (2/5/23)

Highs on Sunday were balmy as we finally got into the middle and upper 50s. The short-term forecast will remain unchanged for now. The warming trend will continue, and we should be quiet for another day to start the week with Monday.

The full moon should be more visible this evening if you have a chance to look for it!

Overnight, conditions will be mostly clear, and temperatures should drop for most of us into the upper 20s and low 30s. Winds will be light for now, but anticipate a change as a weak, cold front approaches and causes winds to pick up Monday afternoon.

Our Java Jumpstart to the week shows increasing clouds throughout the morning and into the afternoon. Temperatures will climb through the 30s in the morning before reaching the 50s once again around lunchtime.

Monday is more of the transitional day between clouds increasing and precipitation expected by Tuesday. Rain is the primary focus for this first midweek system, with heavy rain and some thunder possible on Wednesday. Mild temperatures to stay with us for a while yet.
