Warming Up With Storm Chances (4/27/22)
Most of the day on Thursday will be just fine. Mostly sunny to partly cloudy with temperatures warmer to the south, cooler to the north, in the upper 60s to middle 70s. Not much of a wind, but it’ll be out of the south at 5 to 15 mph.
Later in the day Thursday, late afternoon and into the evening, storms will try to roll through. They’ll have a tough time sticking together, but some will try so scattered showers and storms will be possible.
Then, storms will be possible just about every day. Scattered showers and storms will be possible Friday afternoon and evening, with the better chance for them to our north. High temperatures will be in the lower 70s.
Another chance for storms comes our way on Saturday, and these may be on the strong to severe side. A frontal boundary will move through in the afternoon and evening and storms that do form will have the chance to be strong to severe with large hail and damaging wind.
Partly cloudy skies will round out our weekend on Sunday, but there’s another chance for storms later in the day.
