Weekend Forecast (4/15/22)
Easter weekend is upon us and it’s going to be a rather chilly one. This time of year our average high is right around 70 degrees and we are going to be nowhere near that!
Saturday kicks off the weekend on a quiet note, but we will start the day with quite a few clouds. That will hinder our warming and see highs that struggle to get into the lower 60s. We will see some sunshine the second half of the day and if it comes out sooner than later, we may bump into the middle 60s.
Easter Sunday will be a day that having an umbrella handy will be a good idea. Scattered showers and thunderstorms will be possible on and off throughout the day and with the added cloud cover, temperatures will be well below average. The best chance for precipitation will be in the afternoon and then again into the evening.
Looking ahead to next week, Monday and Tuesday remain cool with mostly sunny skies and highs in the lower 60s. We start to warm back up the second half of the week with highs in the lower and middle 70s, but we’ll also have a chance at a few scattered showers and thunderstorms.
