Windy, warm Sunday to wrap up weekend (10/22/22)
Warm weather is going to continue for the next couple of days. Going into Saturday evening, cloud cover will decrease throughout the night, keeping us on the milder side overall.
Temperatures tonight will range from the upper 50s to lower 60s for a low temperature, far above average for this time of year. Normal low temperatures are usually around the middle 40s toward the end of October.
Heading into the second half of the weekend, wind will remain prominent from Saturday night into Sunday. Wind gusts will be anywhere from 25 to 35 miles an hour bringing in warmer air from the south throughout the afternoon.
While we continue to warm up, high temperatures will climb into the lower 80s. Across the board, most of the FOX 23 coverage area will see summer-like conditions far above normal. Fry and windy conditions will continue with chance soon to come.
The extended forecast shows a couple chances for some more rain heading into next week. Once a system rolls in Monday evening, we’ll be back to near normal by Tuesday.
