Winter storm pushes through (12/22/22)

We’re going to be cold for a few days. Very cold Friday. Cold Saturday. Then we start to warm up a little bit. The 30s come back Monday and Tuesday, then the 40s show up Wednesday and Thursday!

Winter Weather Advisories are in place through Friday morning and a Winter Storm Warning through noon Friday. A winter storm has pushed through and now we’re left with a lot of wind and a lot of cold air.

The wind will be blowing out of the northwest all night, through Friday, and into Saturday at 10 to 30 mph. Because of this, a Wind Chill Warning is in place for the entire KBSI viewing area through Saturday.

Actual temperatures on Friday will start around 0 and then slowly climb towards 10 degrees. It’s going to be a cold day. The wind will make it worse.

Meteogram Forecast Feels Like Temps Tomorrow

Factoring in the wind, the wind chill will be 10 to 20 degrees below zero the morning hours and then not warm up much for the afternoon. It will be dangerous to be outdoors for too long. Frostbite can set in in less than 30 minutes with a wind chill this cold.

Frigid the next couple of days, but we do warm up after the holiday weekend. Highs will be in the 30s Monday and Tuesday. Then in the 40s Wednesday and Thursday!
