Snow is expected to start to move in late Thursday night and last through much of the day on Friday. It will start to move out around sunset Friday evening. The wind is expected to be light during this snow storm.
Snow will be the heaviest in the morning and then start to taper off by the afternoon. Flurries may linger into the evening.
Accumulating snow will likely be in the the 3-5″ range, with more the further southwest you go. Untreated roads and walkways may become slippery, travel will likely be difficult. Friday morning and evening commutes will be impacted.
Temperatures will hover in the upper 20s most of the day and top out in the lower 30s by the afternoon.
On the plus side, the wind won’t be an issue.
After the snow, the weekend and next week looks quiet and cool.
