Wintry Mix Tonight, Cloudy and Cold for Monday

Most of Sunday evening will be spend in the 30s across the Heartland with temperatures close to freezing for the start of the work week.

A chance for some wintry precipitation later this evening according to the latest runs of Stormcast. Wintry mix will turn to a few flurries early Monday morning.

Overnight lows across the Heartland will fall to the 20s and 30s with winds out of the north.

A small chance for wintry mix and flurries for Cape Girardeau. Winds out of the north and lows in the middle 20s.

Temperatures stay below average on Monday with highs in the upper 30s and lower 40s.

Heavy cloudy cover will linger over Cape for most of the day, keeping our afternoon temperatures in the upper 30s.

Much warmer for Tuesday and Wednesday with highs in the lower 50s. Colder air returns to the region late Wednesday, bringing with it a chance for rain into early Thursday. Much colder to close the week with highs at or below freezing.
