1 arrested after shooting in Metropolis

METROPOLIS, Ill. (KBSI) – One man was arrested after an early morning shooting in Metropolis Wednesday.
Justin L. Eades, 37, of Metropolis was wanted on warrants for attempted murder and aggravated discharge of a firearm.
Police received a 911 call around 1 a.m. of shots fired around Oak Drive.
Officers responded to the scene within a minute and learned the shooter ran away. Eades was later arrested.
The victim crashed into a tree while trying to leave the scene and then ran on foot.
