Cape Girardeau police investigating after 1 shot Wednesday evening

CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo. (KBSI) – Police are investigating after one person was shot Wednesday evening in Cape Girardeau.

Cape Girardeau police responded to Southeast Hospital for a victim with a non-life threatening gunshot wound.

Police say the victim was uncooperative with officers.

However, after speaking with the victim, officers canvassed the 900 block of William where they found evidence.

The investigation continues.
