East Prairie, MO man wanted in Melber, KY arrested

MELBER, Ky. (KBSI) – Troopers with Kentucky State Police arrested a wanted Missouri man Thursday after an hours-long search along the Graves and McCracken County line.
Troopers were notified early on Thursday that 43- year-old Bryan Ditto was wanted out of Missouri and may be in northern Graves County.
A trooper spotted Ditto’s vehicle along Highway 1820 just after 10 a.m. The vehicle failed to yield to the trooper and drove into a field just inside of McCracken County, according to Kentucky State Police.
The driver got out of the vehicle and ran into a heavily wooded area, according to KSP.
Troopers and officers from surrounding agencies came to the area west of Melber and began searching acres of farmland as well as several miles of wooded creek beds.
About 4:30 p.m., troopers were alerted that Ditto was spotted near a home on Highway 1820.
As officers arrived, Ditto once again ran away and was chase on foot. After a brief chase, Ditto was captured and placed arrested.
Ditto faces charges of fleeing and evading police (motor vehicle), fleeing and evading police (on foot), criminal mischief 1st degree, receiving stolen property (vehicle), possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine), possession of drug paraphernalia.
Ditto was also served with a warrant from Missouri for multiple offenses to include violation of a protective order.
He was taken to the McCracken County Detention Center.
The Kentucky State Police thanked all of the assisting agencies and citizens of the Melber area for their assistance.
