Miner Police block off road due to sinkhole

MINER, Mo. (KBSI) – The Miner Police Department is warning residents about a sinkhole causing a hole in the middle of a road in town.

A sinkhole was reported in the road at the intersectino of Curtis Drive and South Interstate Drive Sunday morning.

Officers cordoned off the area. It is unknown if the sinkhole is developing. The Miner Public Works Department is looking for the cause of the sinkhole.

Driver are urged to avoid the area of Curtis Drive and South Interstate Drive.
