1 injured, 1 arrested after shooting in Caruthersville

CARUTHERSVILLE, Mo. (KBSI) – One person was arrested and a Cape Girardeau man was injured after a shooting in Caruthersville on June 13.

Danny Ricks, 19, faces charges of assault 1st degree, robbery 1st degree and armed criminal action.

Caruthersville poilce responded to Laura’s Mini Mart on June 13 around 10:15 p.m for a shooting and possible robbery.

Officers found a male that had been struck by gunfire. He was taken by EMS for his injuries.

Suspects were identified and “no bond” warrants were obtained.

Ricks was arrested on June 16 in Cape Girardeau.
