Arrowleaf is providing free Thrillbillies baseball tickets for Wednesdays game in Marion, IL

MARION, Ill. (KBSI) -The Marion Thrillbillies baseball team have free tickets to Wednesday’s game.

Arrowleaf a Southern Illinois based human services organization has purchased all of the remaining tickets for the game on Wednesday June 28, 2023. The group announced Monday that they will give the tickets to the public at no cost.

Arrowleaf CEO Sherrie Crabb said the organization was already sponsoring the June 28 game and providing free tickets to their employees and clients.

“Thrillville provides us with an amazing opportunity to meet community members, so we thought the more, the merrier! Donating the rest of the tickets will allow us to meet more neighbors and make more friends,” Crabb said. “Plus, we’re going to make a big announcement on Wednesday night!”

Thrillbillies Owner Shad Zimbro was grateful for Arrowleaf’s kindness.

“They already do so much for the underserved in our community; I shouldn’t be surprised,” Zimbro said. “They support Southern Illinoisans through a wide variety of challenges that can come up at different points in life, and the Thrillbillies will make sure it’s an exceptional event.”

Wednesday will also be a special theme night. The theme is “Keeping It Reel Night”. A baseball meets fishing theme.

There will also be fishing themed entertainment and the first 500 fans through the gate will receive a fishing bobber courtesy of Arrowleaf.
The Thrillbillies will play the Cape Catfish at 6:45. Gate opens at 5:45
