McCracken County Deputies use virtual reality to enhance training

MCCRACKEN COUNTY Ky. (KBSI) – Deputies in western Kentucky are using virtual reality to train for real-life situations.

The McCracken County Sheriff’s Office just received new virtual reality headsets thanks to donations to the McCracken County Sheriff Foundation.

This system is said to help enhance decision-making, de-escalation, and other skills to help deputies better serve the community.

The new tool is portable and can be set up in minutes, allowing for on-the-go training that is relatable to the real world.
