Wanted man arrested in Johnston City after brief struggle

(KBSI) – A man who was wanted for criminal trespass to a residence was recently arrested in Johnston City.

Williamson County Sheriff’s Office deputies assisted by the Johnston City Police Department arrived at a home on Adams Street in Johnston City around 4:57 a.m. on July 14 to serve an arrest warrant on Kevin M. Sides.

Sides was the subject of a recent “Warrant Wednesday” publication by the Williamson County Sheriffs Office and wanted for criminal trespass to a residence.

Law enforcement found Sides at the home and told him he was under arrest.

Sides was non compliant and resisted efforts to arrest him, according to the Williamson County Sheriff’s Office.

After a brief struggle Sides was taken into custody.

While searching Sides he was discovered to have a controlled substance in his possession, according to the sheriff’s office.

Sides was cited for possession of controlled substance, a class 4 felony and resisting/obstructing a peace officer, a class A misdemeanor.

He was to the Williamson County Jail.
